Laura received her BFA in Sculpture at the University of Colorado. She is a member of one of Denver's premier contemporary artist run gallery Pirate Contemporary Art Gallery. She works from her studio in the RINO Art District. Laura has exhibited throughout the United States and Internationally. Her work has been included at the Denver Art Museum and is a part of numerous collections. She has a featured public work on display on the Anschutz Medical Campus and recently completed a unique indoor public work for Lamar Station Crossing. Another work was recently acquired by the Talsi Regional Museum in Latvia.

Laura is a member of numerous art organizations. She is a former member of Edge and Ice Cube Galleries. She is currently in the process of starting a new "shared space" gallery model that is hybrid of the commercial and co-op gallery models.
In addition to the new gallery - she maintains a unique exhibition space several blocks from her studio that she has dubbed the "GlassHall Gallery."

She has been featured in the art in public spaces venue Republic Plaza 3 times in the last two years in their installation space on the mezzanine level. Occasionally she has the opportunity to speak at a conference and was included in 2017 conference: The Future Of Public Art hosted by WESTAF in Honolulu in an Observer Role. Laura has a large social engagement project going on in Hawaii at the Volcano Art Center 2017-2018 that includes workshops and will conclude with a monumental work that will travel Hawaii and then to the Mainland.

She just returned from a 2018 two week long Curator's Retreat in Los Angeles.
